Its been a while since I have been on here but have been "lurking" the last few days. Finally home after working overseas for a bit. Summer is in full swing and it was time get my girlfriend out of storage. Wash down, polish, wax, sealer, exquisite on the vinyl (which did have mildew stains from sitting in storage for almost 7 months) and she looks just like she came off the showroom floor. Charged up the batteries today and she cranked right up! It was so nice to hear that rumble again, I missed it!
Anyhoo, wanted to get some projects started and the first was replacing stock rear ballast with the 22Ve sacs I had order from chpthrill over 6 months ago. Got them out only to find the number of fittings didn't match the stock setup. Shot Mike an email and inside of 30 mins he replied and knew exactly what had happened. Something we both overlooked was that I have the Surf Ballast option so the number of fittings was wrong. Well Mike said he has a starboard sac in stock and port sacs on order. Getting me a new sb sac next week and will wait for the port side when he gets them back in stock.
Mind you, I have had these sacs in my possession (I just opened the box today) for over 6 months and Mike is sending me replacements no questions asked and even paying to ship these sacs back to him. I offered to pay to send the sacs back to him, but he would not let me do it. THIS IS customer service! Thank you Mike, you are the MAN!
Also called up Larry at FAE and ordered one for '20 22Ve. He answered the few questions I had and is getting it sent out to me and should have it in hand before next weekend. Thanks Larry!
The support from the vendors that frequent this board is awesome! Thank you guys and keep it up!
