Trailering with wakeboards in rack?

we were behind a Mastercraft coming home last week that had their boards in the rack and swiveled out. Made me extremely nervous until we could get around them on the highway

... Idk if you ever ridden in an mc, the clamps are super nice and easy... BUT the boards fly around quite a bit at40 in the boat, especially surfboards or skates , 65 or more and the clamps would not be strong enough to hold a board down...
Just don't do it unless you have a super short distance

I do it from our house to our launch ramp...no more than 100' & never get above idle.
