Possum Kingdom July 2nd Fireworks?

Never been to PK yet but heard that they have a very nice Fireworks show and boat tie up in the cove.

Anybody else going to hit it up?

Vicseek - It's a great lake and Hell's Gate is the cove to hang! I was there this past weekend and plan another trip this coming weekend too!

It is extremely dry and they've had a lot of fires in the area. I heard the fireworks show will not happen this year. However don't let that stop you from going because the lake is a blasty blast every weekend!

PK has the best fireworks on any lake!!! I was wondering if they would have them this year though. Nobody around Lubbock is having them because of the fire danger.

i actually believe the whole state of texas has banned fireworks for the season.

Hells gate cove is a must for all texans and typically has a fireworks display that's books all the nearby cabins for years but now the word fire has a completely different meaning to them ,hope they still bring it but I'll be at lake Whitney
