Dont be dicks and say stupid stuff. EVEN CAR COMPANYS USE OTHER VENDERS. Its TIGES job and there dealers to ASSURE safe boats not the OWNER.

Fact is the dealer or tige are at fault. And It all boils down to TIGE. They choose whom there dealers are. If the dealers are not prepping and checking the boats for saftey it needs to be addressed. All car DEALERS PDI the cars. They drive them check them to assure a safe delievery to the customer who is spending a TON of money on there product. I know alot of you wanna deffend the company but the fact is this poor guy got treated like ****. And if the dealer did there job this wouldnt have happened. Now he has a scratched up boat and a bad taste for the brand.

I do agree one post would have done the job tho!

OMG It is a new boat it has a warranty get it fixed! If the purchasing dealer isn't going to step up (which I doubt) then there are proper channels to go through not come on here and flame away You have Ben Pigeon's phone # use it he's a good dude.

I can't wait to here the other side to this story

All new boats have issues. Show me someone who purchases a new boat with zero problems and I'll show you a liar. Like everyone else has said, it is under warranty, get it fixed. If the dealer really did treat you as started then that is horrible, but we have only heard one side of the story. The part that bothers me more than anything it's the 11 threads of copy and paste. Definitely does nothing to help.

Is there anyway to consolidate or to remove 10 of the identical threads. Kinda makes the OP look like a moron and a real pain in the *** to deal with. Like to hear the dealer's side.

I've been mostly happy with my Tige and extremely happy with my dealer.

But has everything been perfect during my 6 years of ownership .... of course not. I'm having a recurring problem with my bearing buddies coming off after the dealer service it.

Same thing with the previous boat to the Tige. I was mostly happy with it and again happy with that dealer. But was it perfect .... of course not.

First time we took out that new boat, the mechanics forgot to attach one of the water hoses. We start to back off the dock after launching th boat and notice that the engine temp was getting really high. Turn off the engine. I then notice the sump pump going crazy. Lift up the hatch and it was filled with water.

Luckly the trailer was still at the launch as this was our first boat and we were practicing how to launch and retrieve the boat. Took it back to the dealer and was fixed the same afternoon. Chit happens with boats.

Ok so I wanted to vent and some people showed some respect. To those who didn’t, come pick up my boat and drive it to Fort Worth because I live in Dallas, which is an hour drive, and more than likely I will not have it next weekend for the 4th so you can loan me your boat. When you’re done with that please make my $1,000 monthly loan payment and give me back my $10,000 down payment and the $200 a month I give to Pier 121 to store it along with the $350 I gave to my insurance company for the year. If you’re not going to do this shut your mouth with your used $20,000 boat that I owned 12 years ago. For those who said I was a **** it looks like that’s what got us help because we got a text from Ken at Eagle today saying apologizing for what we went through, said he would pick up our boat and bring it to Fort Worth, would have it fixed and back to us ASAP, and said he would make it right. So at this point what you guys don’t understand is I don’t care anymore after everything we’ve been though and just want it fixed and over with, which Eagle is going to do.

Wickedcummins you seem to blame tige for all your problems.I deal with many technicians at dealers.Ford,Chevrolet,Dodge, jeep mitsubishi, nissan, subaru,Lexus and Range Rover. All have experienced similar problems as these new Tige owners.Even the MALIBU'S you say are so organized and perfect in every detail have problems their "trained tech's" can't fix.We have to realize all dealers aren't the same and all tech's don't have the same abilities.I helped a friend of mine at the lake get his MALIBU fixed because i knew a very good auto tech who was big into boats. This guy had taken his boat in to 2 different malibu dealers and paid out over 900 dollars to have the same problem as he started with.I hooked him up with the good tech who knew what was wrong by just hearing the symptoms. Both Malibu techs knew it was fuel related but neither fixed it.One replaced the fuel pump and the other replaced the fuel filter. The tech i refered knew the fuel pickup hoses were cracking and sucking air.He fixed it over 2 years ago and the Malibu owner is a happy boater still. So my point is Malibu techs may have the support but don't always use it.You are frustrated because Tige the company didn't call you back. Most Companies won't deal with the customer directly as far as giving out diagnostic information.I know the guys at my DODGE dealer struggled with the new Cummins turbo issues after they put an EGR valve in the system. The manufacturer was slow to respond to them also.So you aren't alone in your frustration.Every product has a few issues or bugs to work out and none are perfect.I'm not picking on any manufacturer in particular, just making points with ones WICKED has mentioned.By the way i think Wickedcummins is a excellent tech as he found his issue by himself and fixed it.I know others feel the same way.

Your bitching for having to drive an hour to the dealership? Which boat did you own 12 years ago? You said in you original post you've never owned a boat

Bottom line is you you acted like a fool to get your way and all you had to do was take a reasonable grown up approach with your dealer.

You should have started out with a Bayliner you a**clown!

I think this guy shouldnt be knocking the people whom didnt pay 50k for a boat because some of us dont feel like buying something that looses all the value. I see your point but dont bash people not buyin new boats makes you look like a complete douche bag!

Yes robert I agree to some point. But I think they should implace a better dealer check out to assure safe boating. I mean if this board whould have hurt someone or killed them they would have a big law suit on there hands and someone could have lost a loved one! I know out Check outs would not allow someone to be hurt or killed. Our new car preps Require a 30mile drive and a check out of the whole car and operating everything as far down as locking in seat belts n such!

This guys issues are just insane and I hope tige does something to help out and even have a talk with the selling dealer! I mean could you imagine if your truck hood flew up when you where driving?

and I was not saying malibus are perfect but the fact they put a 2 hour water test on them is a great start to a safe boat!

Nice so if the factory tests them its the dealers fault. witch is still tiges doing for not dealing with the dealer for not giving a crap about the boats there forcing down peoples throats.

I really hope they get envolved and take actions against the dealer and help this new owner happy! I hate sue happy people but in some cases its because the people getting sued dont show they give a crap about the probablem! Lets hope they do something cause it says alot!
