    Metacrap Bimini won't stay up...

The bimini itself stays up and is solid.. but there is the one section the provides support for the middle of the bimini that is constantly falling down and making the bimini much lower.. I'll post some pics if you guys need more of a reference.. I'm certain I have it up right too...not too many other ways for it to go and from the pictures I have seen it is right... I can pop it up and it will stay for the mean while... but once you get going or a good breeze comes by and it goes flat... any ideas?!?! Thanks Tige folk!

I have that same bimini... I think. Does yours mount to the tower or directly to the hull?

Mine attaches directly to the hull. Anyway, there is a little set screw to hold that collar in place.
              Find it.
              Tighten it.
              Smile and enjoy the shade.
              Waiting for another good one!

I hear ya laserfish... coming tomorrow.. and FiveFlat; that is exactly how mine is but those side screws are in plastic and the don't hold up well... tightened them down but don't wanna make them too tight or I'll break the plastic I think...

From the pictures in your album it looks like you have the same one as I do. So here is what a cross section view should look like when it's up. The middle support actually tilts rearward with straps from the front bar providing tension to hold it up.
                    Hope this helps.
