O ring on fuel filter Tige 2005.

    Hi All.
First of all I think this site is amazing. Cannot believe how helpful everyone is. Have finally removed the cannister around my fuel filter after much swearing and help from my neighbours who have the right tools. I was just about to place the new filter in when I thought that maybe I should be coating the "O" ring with some type of lubricant/grease? Can anyone please advise.

    Thanks

    Neil

I am not sure if it is necessary, but you could use a silicon lubricant.

A very thin film of lithium grease (white) works well. Just dont use very much.
