2005 Tige 21i fuel leak question

Hi.
I have just imported a 2005 Tige 21i from the usa to Australia. I had a problem starting it but have rectified this problem as I found a faulty fuse. My next problem is a fuel leak. I cannot believe it but it appears to be coming from a join in the metal casing of what I think is the gas/fuel injection system. I have attached photos and it is leaking from where the paint has peeled off. It is a 5.7L 340hp vortec Marine power engine with only 50 hours on it. I am amazed petrol is coming from this area as it appears sealed? Nor sure if this is the gas/fuel filter injection area. Does anyone have any ideas before I start pulling it apart.

That is the fuel filter. It comes apart and there is an o-ring in there.

We replaced one last summer on a 07 trade-in.Contact Marine Power at 985-386-2081 www.marinepowerusa.com Also, look at the download section under engine manuals,not sure if they list all the parts.

Do I have to replace the whole unit or do I just pull it apart and replace the o ring. If just the o ring
Where a bouts is it. In the middle of the unit or down the bottom end. Is it something I can do myself or require a mechanic.
