    Mr. Clean Car Wash

Wondering if anyone tried the new Mr. Clean car wash advertised on TV, the ad claims you don't have to dry and doesn't spot, even black vehicles.

I believe they are basically using distilled water so there are no minerals to cling to the paint. I guess you could buy bottled distilled water from the store and wash with that.

hey if you guys wash your boat down after riding,
your should just use vinegar, it works really good, but should spray it off after

I wipe my boat down after everyday at the lake. I use a mixture of vinegar and water. It works great to get the water spots off. You should also wax your boat at least once a season.

vinegar is acidic and will strip off your wax.

every time you take it out? I'm going to use a paint sealant or a decent wax, and use something like ducky to remove/prevent water stains...

I've used ducky on PWC for years, and it works wonders- yet it doesnt pull off your wax.

the vinegar water mixture isn't very harsh, over time it will remove some wax.

wipe down? yes I wipe down anything that goes in the water. Wax every time? hell no.
