Was the boat sitting at WWS in their inventory and they are shipping it to the factory to put the add ons together? I'm confused as well why you didn't use one of the local dealers. Either way you ended up with a sweet boat!

Also out of curiosity, I had heard before that another dealer won't do warranty work on a boat that wasn't bought there, is that true?

They will still do the warranty work, you probably just won't be their top priority for getting the work done. I.E. - if a customer boat comes in they might be more prone to work on theirs before yours is my guess.

Our closest dealers stopped selling Tige so when I put my zip code in for nearest dealer it gave me the number in Abilene. I called it and asked for the representative on the website. I was going to build a boat when I learned it was the factory but we found two boats I liked and could get sooner. This one had just been finished except for the add-ons I wanted. It was ordered by WWS for their inventory and not built for a customer. I am purchasing it through WWS but picking it up in Abilene at the factory. Kinda got lucky I guess in catching it before it made the trip to Colorado.

I will tell you one thing though. I had contacted other dealers in the past and they were always too busy to find me a boat or treated me like I was blowing smoke. Tony at Tige never once brushed me off and was very helpful in meeting my needs and wants on a boat. Honestly when I started looking I figured on getting a 2005-2008 Malibu but after looking and researching the boats and deals I stuck with another Tige. Only thing I decided not to spend the money for was the Tige Touch which I am impressed with but wanted more stereo and ballasts instead.
