Vinyl Repair Kits??

When you state "the notoriously bad vinyl found in the earlier models", how do you define earlier models i.e what years?

Well my 2001 has issues.. whichis pretty much ancient compared to anything new.. But i would have to say that ajholt7 knows better than I.. I took my seats in to get redon and they said the stiching that holds the two toned vinyl pieces togther is just crappy engineering. I'm going to get all min redone but for now I'm going to buy some nice cloth and elastic from a fabric store and just have them make some "seat condoms". I'll post some pics up and tell everybody prices.. it would be a good way to salvage your seats too, I think.

It seems to be most models pre 08. Worse the farther back you go.

You would think that they would have figured that crap out sooner.. oh well.. C'est la vi..
