Do you use a surboard leash? I'm trying to learn how to spin a 360 with a surfstyle board and may times I get off-balance, send the board flying and am left with a longer than desireable swim to get it. Are there safety considerations in order? What am I not thinking of???

Whatever makes you comfortable on the water is how I should've answered. Consider that the ocean riders are dealing with waves and currents that can really send you swimming..
Maybe if you surf on a faster moving river?
Think of the swimming as the aerobic excercize you're not getting when you surf!Last edited by NiceOnes; 06-15-2011, 02:22 AM.
