Also 60' seems short on the rope.

I ride 85' at around 25 mph give or take a half mile an hour. We run a good amount of weight though around 4000lbs. And with my 14 x 14.25 prop I run around 3800rpms. And to who said running over 4000 rpms would hurt your boat it's not bad for them at all, a small block will run 4000 rpms all day long. But fuel consumption that's a different story.
But if your having problems clearing the wake with the new prop try speeding it up to 3300 rpms and see if that helps. I also agree that 60' rope is way to short. I rode that when I was 13 behind an old MC prostar 205. I would say you at least want to be 70' to 75'.

Wow.. 3500 for wakeboarding? Does it cost more in gas with the new prop?
I think my kid wakeboards at about 2400 in ours, but Im propped higher too.

I just changed my prop on my boat as well. (we have the same boat unless you have the blue V-drive)
I went with a ACME 911 and now wakeboard RPM for my son went from 2700RPM to 3500RPM (or thereabouts)
Basically, adjust speed until the wake whitewash is just behind your board .So this monkey walks into a bar...

Hole shot in my boat is amazing, even with 1800lbs of weight. Top speed is less than desirable but tolerable. I won't go much over 4000RPM for fear of hurting my motor and I'm around 28MPH.
that gota kill your GPHTige, it's a way of life!

If i have no weight in the boat i go 21 to 21.5 for smooth water on a 70 ft rope.22.5 on a 75 foot rope and 22 on a 70 foot in rough water. When fully weighted with 2000 lb pro ballast i go 24.5 mph on 80 foot rope and if we have more than 2 passengers 25 mph on 85 foot rope.I usually set taps on 6.Hope this helps. But with all that said i can look at the wake and tell my wife how much to speed up or how many numbers to go up or down on tapsI do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis.

Ya that's a little on the short side.
Does your PP still display the speed you are going. Btw the previous owner upgraded the PP on my boat to the gps based version I think they send you a new display and module I think it was 4-6 hundred for the upgrade.
You really need to know the speed your are going even if you get a hand held unit then check that against the RPM. Your speed should be between 18-25 depending on rider weight rope length etc.

I'm pretty sure I would hit the rev limiter if I pushed it all the way wide open, the most I've gone with it is 40mph at 5100rpm. Didn't want to push it any further. Most the time I'm driving, but for people that are driving it I just tell them not to go wide open when we are unloaded. 30mph is plenty fast.
