What OS are you using?
I use image resize to make the pic smaller it is very fast and easy to use.
( it is a MS tool)

I have a little trick to making the right size pics for the forums. I get the picture on my screen then I use the SnipIt tool to save the screenshot to a file. Then I upload it to my gallery. Once it's saved in my gallery, I right click the pic and click properties, then I copy the http: addy and use the "insert picture" icon on the message menu. Then I just paste the addy in that box and hit save.

I use Vista on pc and unsure about evo. Will I know the snipit icon when I see it.and that is a sweet pic with the labs in the falls

I upload my photos onto either photobucket or picassa (both free). You can choose the file size during upload. Then just copy the [IMG] link and paste it here.

As Joeprunc stated, filesharing sites make it easy. Plus, tigeowners puts a max size allowable for attachments, but the filesharing sites allow you to post larger pics in threads. Here is a good description of the process: http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5489
