    NEW TIGE OWNER!!!

Making my first post here, but I have been reading the forum(s) for about a month now. Didn't create my account until I got the final word from the bank that we were a go. I traded in my '05 Larson LXi 208 for a brand new '08 20v today from the dealer. Literally left the dealership and went straight to the lake.
Unfortunately the Northern Nevada weather seems to think that it's March vs being the middle of June.

Thanks to this forum and the reviews I found online about these boats. A picture taken by a buddy of our maiden voyage... I am proud to introduce RUNS WITH SCISSORS.

More pictures to come once the bimini is installed early next week.

Great find! Congrats and welcome to the Tige community.

You should plan to bring it down to Mead in Sept and meet some other Tige owners.

Thanks guys! This boat was a lucky find, and it was from my local Tige dealer. We were going to buy a new left over '09 Malibu, but the price of the Tige and the reviews swayed my decision. I couldn't be happier.

The buddy who took our picture has an '08 Sanger V237, and we did a wake comparison yesterday. My 20V throws just as a good of a wake, if not better, than his v237 with full ballast.

@Shaw74 - All my boats are named Runs with Scissors. It fits my personality.

@jmitchell - Like most of you a stereo is in the works. Conflicted where to put the sub, and I'm torn on how many tower speakers to put up there. A light bar is on order. We rent a cabin every year at Lake Almanor in Cali for a week. So we get a private dock for the week and are typically out just after sunset. So it's a must for that week.

Thanks for all the kind words, and I plan to post pictures after the Bimini is done, and the first few additions have been added.

@chpthril - Lake Mead is a good 7-10 hour drive depending on traffic. You can get stuck behind a semi or an old grandma that will prevent you from passing.

The wall under the helm is already perforated for a 10" sub.

So, are you saying that I can get away with a free air sub in there vs having one in a box hidden someplace?

Welcome to the site dude. Nice to see another Reno guy on here. Rushin is also a Lahontan guy. He's got the blue and yellow RZ2 out there. I always seem to see him in the Narrows. Check my gallery for my white 22i. We should be out at some point this weekend. Do you guys run out of the Silver Springs side or the Fallon side?
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

Congradulations on the new TOY! I like the colors! If you are thinking about tower speakers, if you don't have a strong opinion on where to hang then, look at hanging them near the corners of the tower vs across the top. Just thinking about headroom. I have seen some good looking boats with their speakers mounted in the corners vs across the middle. Others on here might have some pros/cons on this thought.

Good Luck and here is to GREAT times on water for years to come! Cheers
