    cracked block!

Just unwinterized the boat today, the weather around here has been terrible. Boat fired right up but then I noticed water pouring from the starboard side. Upon further inspection it has a very large crack in it.

For those that have had to deal with insurance on this how was the experience? The boat was winterized but since we moved I had to store it outside for several months this winter and we had really cold weather. I even ran a heater under the cover.

Was planning to sell the boat this summer but those plans now may be put off for a while.

You say the boat was winterized. Who winterized it? If it was properly winterized this should not have happened. I store my boat outside year round with no heat source.

Did you winterize the boat yourself? I live south of you in Bonney Lake and my boat was outside all winter with no heat. It was a cold winter but you should have had zero problems. Sucks you have to start the year like this :-( Sorry but i don't have any info on insurance.

Whoever winteriezed it should be liable, I have stored properly winterized and covered boats outside in -20 degree weather with no issues,
Now my Zee gets to spend the winters in a heated garage though

Not sure how the insurance will go if you winterized it.

I cracked my heater core this winter because I didnt get all the water out of it.
