    Why Tige is the best

This thread is just simply to give props to Tige, as I purchased a 2011 Rz2 with the 409hp PCM motor however with this boat there have been a few minor issues such as miss powder coating the tower (red) and the motor losing cylinder #8 and a valve and maybe even a head! with simply 28.4 hours on the motor. Here is why I will continue purchasing tige's as they have shipped us a motor fully built and ready to drop straight in no swapping of parts when my dealer receives it and a new tower on it's way ASAP. This motor was shipped within a day and a half of the mine going out so props to them for stepping to the plate on that issue and I will continue to purchase them!

Wish I had as good of luck...I have had upholstry issues along with a few other issues since it left the lot. You can get a brand new motor & tower & I can't even get some stitching fixed :-(

Very disappointing...sometimes I wish I would have stuck with Supra or maybe a Malibu if the sales guy at the dealer wasn't such a Douche.

Did you buy from the dealer on Okoboji? I went by there a couple weeks ago on my way through town, but they were closed for the evening.
The luck is gone, the brain is shot, but the liquor we still got.

Jeffe - what year is your RZ? Reason I ask is that I had some vinyl issues (e.g. seams coming apart) and I took it into the dealer last month to have it repaired expecting to pay for it. When I went to pick it up my dealer let me know he got it covered under warranty. I have a 2008 and the crappy gray trim was completely replaced in the rear section of the boat. I was shocked that Tige took care of the issue.

I have a feeling a lot of this will depend on the dealer and how well they work with the company to get issues solved just my two cents.

Mine is an 08 as well. They did send out some brew skins, but apparently the old upholstry company is no longer so they couldn't match the color. The difference in colors is pretty drastic & it would have looked ghetto to change them.

My 2001 Moomba Mobius had better upholstry & was less than half the price.

I do not know how the warranty stuff for boats compares to the auto industry but many dealers in the auto industry claim they do not get paid much or anything if they do warranty work on a vehicle. Based on that I know that there are some that will not do warranty work or claim it is not covered so they can get a higher rate. If the boat industry is the same I could see why this is dealer to dealer specific on why certain things get taken care of or not. In the end the customer suffers.

You dont like the Bu and Supra sales peeps, but your Tige dealer delivered to you a Tige with cosmetic defects and has yet to take care of those things! That boat should never had been shown, more less delivered, if it wasnt 100% rigth IMO. Sounds to me like you are calling the wrong folfs a Douche

Kight & Christine, I realize that it is a Moomba, but after 7 years & 750 hours I had absolutely no issues with the upholstery. You can take your 8 posts & shove them up your ____!!!

When I took possession of tige the stitches were pulling apart in multiple places. I was told by the dealer to use it for the season, see how the stitching progresses & bring it back later for warranty because new skins & warranty issues took a very long time. When I did eventually bring it back, they tried to charge me for labor because it was past the 1 year mark. After writing a letter to Tige I finally got somewhere & that was some new mismatched skins.

Overall, I am very happy with the boat, just disappointed with the upholstery and the way it was handled.

Live & learn & move on...

The Malibu sales guy is a Douche...Imagine talking to a guy with your wife there and every other word is F Tige, F Moomba, F Supra, F MC, their are all POS. Very vibrant vocabulary if I might say. Why don't you sell me on how good your boat is instead of cussing out all the other boats...DOUCHE!!!
