I cut down the braces an inch and rounded the edges to really streamline the corners.
We used a 6 foot straight edge that we 'bowed' to get the outside curve.
Edges were all routered at a nice 1/4 round' 45 degrees. Looks cool with the exposed lighter shade teac edges. We sanded the lower boards to match the new edge...bam
lots and lots of sanding with different grits'
Used a stiff brush to bring out the grain
Compressed air,,,and
liberal use of teak oil..I rubbed it forever and it dried in a super heated room for a week
the bottom looks as good as the top..well almost![Wink](https://www.tigeowners.com/core/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Main brace I had painted and baked at my buddies shop. It's pimp semi gloss black and should hold up
It's nicer than any piece of furniture I own or have owned
