Anybody out in Southern Maryland or nearby? I live on the Chesapeake Bay and need to find some other Tige brothers and sisters out here... I actually live on the Patuxent River but the Bay is a lot more known and still pretty close(they connect with one another)... let's get something going outside of Texas, CA, and FL... oh yeah.. Carolina seems to be popping too but I don't wanna drive that far..

I am in Frederick, MD..but my boat stays on Lake Anna near Fredericksburg, VA. There is at least one other member on here that keeps his boat down there as well. Its a bit of a drive from one to the other unfortunately. I seem to remember at least one member on here that rides on the bay or nearby.

I am probably the closest you are going to get that monitors this forum. I am just down the street 30 min from Dunkirk in Pax River/Lexington Park, MD. We put in the NAS Paxuxent River, Solomons Island Recreational center and then run in the pax river up cuckhold creek and other small creeks. The only prob with the rec center is you have to have Military/Government ID to put in there but there are other places close by that civilians can put in. There are two other Tige's down here but I haven't met either owner, just passed them while we are towing riders. Like you I am pretty stoked about the fact that there very few skiiers/tubers/wakeboarders up the creeks that we hang out in. Also we have a favorite creek that the water is warm and almost always butter at worst a little ripple even on the windy days. There are a few mastercrafts, malibus that i have seen but most everyone down here are pulling tubers behind center consoles to support their fishing habit. We are wakeboarders and surfers only. Neither my wife nor I are remotely into fishing.

Awesome man.. we need to meet up down by bennedicts or something... we have somee nice glass up towards me that could make your boat "wet".. I am in the Air Force so I'm good at launching on the base.. I just happen to live on the water though so whenever I wanna go that way I just drive.. Takes a toll on the gas gage but I just make sure I fill up on land before I go. We should meet up at Vera's White Sands or something.. Take me about 40 minutes by boat to get there and less than a half tank depending how fast I'm cruising but I have been meaning to get down there. Purely wakeboarding on my boat and I would like to try the surfing as well.. I'm certain I could do it looking at the videos online.. just don't know how fun it is and whether or not it is worth spending the money to put a ballast in my boat...but a decent board.. etc.. Anyway.. I have been on the water Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday...With hopes of getting out today too... Let me know when you're going out and if you'd be interested in something like that!

How big is Lake Anna and how busy does it get..?? The thing I like most about my spot is that I am the only one on the water most days.. sometimes this holds true even on the weekends![/QUOTE]
IT'S 22 miles from one end to the other. It's like any other public lake calm during the week, busy on the weekend.Good early in the morning and late in the evening on weekends.I do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis.
