    Prelude to the Dream

Totally off topic but hey, its for charity.

The Prelude to the Dream is tonight at 8pm eastern on PPV. Besides being an awesome event, it raises a lot of money for children's hospitals. It's only $25 so don't be a cheap square, watch a cool race and help some kids out.

I knew I could count on a Nevadan to hip. Right on Rushin!

They always put on an awesome show. Even if you are not into racing, it's fun. It's Saturday Night Feature racing. Short heat races and a short Main. No pit stops or any of that. Just go go go! For the inexperienced race fan, its easy to watch. Dirt Late Models rule! It's the original drifting. 900hp animals sliding sideways at full throttle = Bad @$$!

Did I mention its for charity?

The cars are incredible and this race always has some of the nicest Late Models ever built. Tony Stewart once was asked, "If he could race any type of car in the world, what would it be?"

"If it all paid the same, I would race dirt Late Models!" That guy has won a championship in every type of car he's ever competed in professionally and that's a lot of different cars.

I don't watch Napcar anymore but, Smoke is and will always be a stud.

Before the race the other day they interviewed Tony and he said there were drivers building cars just for the Prelude this year.

And of coarse, no one will cheat. These guys are dead serious about winning. It's like going to the go-cart track with your buddies, except these guys have the money to build the ultimate dirt cars. Nobody is gonna back down and just cruise around. It's a matter of pride. You don't wanna listen to buddy bark about kicking yer butt for the rest of the year.
