How did you bond the material to that textured surface? Did you have any problems in this respect when installing? I agree that that textured Surface is hard to keep clean. One benefit of my colored deck is that the dirt doesn't show up as much. I understand its function, noone wants to go walking around on smooth, waxed gelcoat. However, it is a PITA to get excess wax out and keep clean. When you look at cost of an upgrade v. value (be it economic or in utility) this one has to be near the top of any I've seen. This just went on my list for next year. I'm inspired.
I just followed SeaDek's installation instructions. The material is adhesive backed. It's so easy to install, even a lawyer (or law student) can do it

Sweet. I do find that the more time I spend with my nose in a book or my butt in a classroom makes me more and more nervous about doing any REAL work, and I'm losing my confidence. So has the adhesive held up on the textured surface? It just seems there would be not nearly the same amount of surface area for the pad to stick to.

Stays on just fine. I've had zero issues with it...no corners coming up or other areas of lifting. If it's in your budget, I'd go with it. The templates I had made should fit your boat. I believe they'll send you templates to double check everything before fulfilling the order (that's what they did for me when I ordered the pad for my swim platform). I assume you can give them my name to reference the template. I assume they can dig it up based on that. PM me if you forgot my name.

I reached out to Guapo, but haven't went as far as contacting SeaDek yet. I'm definitely in for a group by.

I'm interested in that group buy - too much going on to set it up (sitting in class right now). Anyone want to make the call?
