Warning message _Swallow from tige touch

Does any one know what imply from the Warning message from Tige touch-Swallow

I have never used a tigetouch system, but I'm thinking that maybe you misread it. Could it have been warning "Shallow" instead?

If it actually is directing to swallow...I don't think I would be interested in upgrading

In case you didn't figure it out already - a shallow warning would be a sign that the depth gauge is reading below the warning depth. I think that the warning depth can be adjusted if you choose to. If I remember correctly, you are located somewhere like Hong Kong, correct?

My boat is doing that as well. The depth finder is reading incorrectly and will show a 3 foot depth where 5 seconds before was showing a 138 foot depth. It has been doing it since I set my shallow water warning to 4 feet. I was out last weekend and was going to cancel the shallow water warning (just go into set up and you will find it) and see if that cancelled the warning coming up all the time but about 10 minutes after we got on water a 30 mph wind picked up. That was fun getting back to the dock and putting the boat on the trailer with the 3.5 foot waves!

The guys at Hyperactive are looking into it as well. I should be out again on the lake on thursday, I will reset the shallow water warning depth and see if that makes the warning stop. It is a pain with that warning flashing accross your sreen every minute.

Depth sounders do pick up big fish.... Sometimes...
                It's not an optical illusion.
                It just looks like one.....

I notice the flash to shallow warning when I know I am in deep water occurs more often in better water quality lakes (e.g., Lake Norfolk, the warning flashes every ten minutes; Mississippi River channel, not so much).

I guessed then it was a big school of fish perhaps.

Mine was doing it in 2 different lakes. It seemed like at regular intervals. Shouldn't be a major...we will see.

I was not getting any warning - but I noticed my depth gauge reads a very shallow depth in 150+ feet of water when I am throttling up or moving faster than a crawl. I just noticed it this weekend and attributed it to turbulence near the transducer. Is this typical?

                        HI Digg
Thank you for teaching me the adjustment of depth warning level from the touch. And thank you for remember me!!

                          pzbilly,
You can go to the Setup section on your Tige touch and change your depth settings.Print out the Touch manual from the download section here under manuals, it is easier to read in a larger format than your smaller manual in your owners package.

I reset my shallow water warning from 3 feet to 0. Works like normal again. Must have something to do with the warning...some kind of glitch there.
