    Alignment Issues???

I know the pic is not a good one, but does something look off here?

I hit something while at Bethy Creek this weekend. Noticed a little more vibration and the steering is now tighter. I think the rudder might be bent. For the first time, I noticed that the rudder and prop do not line up, but after reading many other posts on here, it appears that some of the boats are designed that way. My rudder is about 1-1.5 inches to the right of the center of the prop.

I can't see any prop damage, but since I just bought the boat, might not hurt to take it to my prop guy and let him re-work it. Or maybe I should upgrade to a new prop.

Second pic - get home and try to unhook the boat - handle was missing from my trailer jack. Had to get my floor jack out and jack it up.

Anybody know if I can buy a new handle for the jack? I can't find anything on the Fulton website. It is a Fulton Magnum.

Not Sure, I think you would be better off getting a new Fulton Jack

x2 - I upgraded to the F2 and like it a lot better

I do have my old fulton magnum that I could see if I can take the handle off and ship you for minimal cost. Or I can send you the whole thing. I think the gears are stripped a little, it does seem like I saw that you could get a rebuild kit. PM me if you are interested.

Thanks for the offer, but I just order a new handle from etrailer.com. I called Fultom and spoke to a technician who gave me the part number. Cost was $21 including shipping. Hope I can put it on.

Quote from Tige dealer is $3,700 to fix everything - new rudder, prop rework, new shaft, new shaft strut. Progressive adjuster went out today, agreed with the quote and cut a check right there on the spot (less deductible) - way to go Progressive! Parts were already on order, should come in next week sometime, and then have the boat back that next week.

Thats awesome to hear about Progressive experience. I just switched to them this year as I have heard they do a good job. I also had the handle break off of my jack last Summer, bought the 2 wheeled version and love it, way more stable so highly recommended and easy to change out yourself.
