Does your impeller housing shake at all when the motors running?

I've never noticed this before... Does any of your all's impeller housings shake while the motors idling?

Just wondering if maybe I have bearing starting to go bad and it's fighting turning. Can't remember this ever doing this before. It's a marine power btw

No mine doesn't. Are you missing some hardware?

The crankshaft mounted units will appear to shake but it just means they're not centered on the pulley face and they're wobbling. The pump will be okay and just like the rest will not need replacement unless it starts leaking from the front seal or you hear bearing noise.
Fixing everyone elses boat just so I can use mine...

Thank you. Exactly how it's acting. What I can't figure out is when the thing is mounted to a plate that attaches to the harmonic balancer if I remember right. And the screws are fairly tight fitting, how can they not be centered?

I have seen different amounts of wobble. Some is seems to be the norm. I see more with a little wobble than without any. Now if its extreme I would check to make sure it got installed right. I have seen them get cocked after being off and this will make them shake like crazy and will end up trashing the pump or bracket.

Mine does, and I have never had a problem with it.
