I'm currently looking to possibly order a r20 w the saltwater performance package. What your opinions on how this boat will handle the chop on the intercoastal, bays, harbors, or rough lakes? Also do you think the 5.0 303hp will be adequate or the 5.7 343hp, as well as other opininions on options.

we just bought an r20 and the boat is awsome! we have in with the 5.0 motor 303 hp and its great! even with a loaded boat! No need to spend the extra money on the bigger motor... unless your getting the big ballest option or on really rough waters. -

Thanks. How does it handle in rough waters? It will be in a mix. I'm planning on moving to charleston where there a lot of brackish water.Comment
