I don't see how you could go wrong with the Tige challenge if you were looking at new wakeboats! Let us now how it turns out for you if you decided to take them up on it! Welcome to the site!

I guess I'm too honest. We've been contemplating a new boat since our previous boat sank during a storm on April 15. I looked at Tige's before I heard about the offer, but had decided to buy a Nautique instead. When the offer was announced, we had not made any kind of deal yet, hadn't signed any papers, etc, so I could have taken the challenge and tried to pocket the 1 K, but decided not to.

That is Honest. Why did you end up going with Nautique and did you purchase a New Nautique?

Just curious, what was the deciding factor to go Nautique?

In 1996, we really wanted to buy a Nautique, but just couldn't afford the extra dollars, so we bought a Ski Supreme. In 2003, we again wanted a Nautique, but just like 1996, we really couldn't justify the extra cost, so we bought a 2003 Ski Centurion. Both were great boats, especially the Centurion. Not one single problem in 8 years. Fast forward to April 15 of this year and fierce winds damaged our dock, boat lift, and sunk our boat. We had Progressive insurance with agreed value, so we recieved a check for the amount we paid for the Centurion in 03. So with fresh money in hand, we started boat shopping. Again, I really wanted a Nautique, so I started looking for used ones in the 50K to 60K range. Never have bought a used boat before, always new at the boat show. Really didn't find anything we liked, but in our search we talked to the local Nautique dealer who made us a great offer on a new boat, but again we declined to spend the extra $$, but after a couple more weeks, I decided to go look at the boat the dealer was offering and test drove it. Fell in love and bought it. Picking it up today at 10 AM. The Tige that I most like the looks of are the RZ models, but my boat dock has a V front and I don't think any of the pickle front boats would fit. I'm also just not that fond of a lot of the Tige graphics. A 22Ve would have been my choice, but the bottom line for us was just a long time want for a Nautique.

Tige has some rules to the challenge. You have to compare current model year boats, 2011's, and the same size engine pkg's in the competing boats. They also have a comparison grid to use(example R20 against the Moomba Outback V and the Axis A20)

I wonder why no other company has this type of challenge?I also wonder why they won't warranty their hulls for life[like Tige]?Tige should also stress the gallons per hour to use their boats. All the boat owners i've talked to use way more fuel loaded and unloaded.Just some random thoughts.
