1st ride; FAE, custom sac etc.

A few comments:

We FINALLY got out on the boat for first time today and check out the FAE, plus big custom sac/system from Chpthril and WS-420. WHAT A BLAST! The wave was huge even with just Jake (10 yr old) and Sue in the boat. It will be monstrous when we get 4-8 people riding along. We goofed and forgot the camera so pics will be next weekend. Water warmed up amd I went for two quick rides since Jake was hot to jump on the surf board for season starter. I love the new ballast system. 1000-1100 lbs in 8 mins - gotta love double pumpers. FAE is incredible - cut engine by more than half. Jake has a blast with 420 because of the PA. Summer fun starts next week. jb

True that on the FAE, I did my install this winter and was AMAZED at the sound reduction! I have about 1600 in the rear and 500 upfront in the bow, however I keep hearing to load up the swim deck to get the ultimate wake, because of the leverage, makes the wake deep and steep for great push!! Simple plastic bucket you fill with water at the lake, push it up on the deck, then strap it down?? Sounds good, just no deck starts.
Endless Summer starts for the family! Got to get my girls surfing this year, wish me luck!! Age 6 and 8. Any ideas for a little motivation for them??

got no input on motivation other than to "show" off for family and friends. our 10 yr old is goofing around on his knees on the surfboard and having a blast so we don't push. might look at wake9.com for kids vid by Ragboy for helpful hints too. He's had some faceplants while reg kneeboarding so he's leery.
