None of the state parks for recreational boating will be affected because they bring in the most revenue of any state park.

It is all Smoke and Mirrors my friend.

This is a political tactic to get you to pay more taxes.

The state budget for state parks is 1/3 of 1% of the entire budget.

It is a massive campaign to get more money from the taxpayers of California.

Havent you seen the protests from the Teachers Union???

      Also the same.....

The taxpayers of California have had enough.

      We pay enough.

Write to our legislature and tell them we have to cut excessive spending.... DO NOT RAISE TAXES AND DO NOT EXTEND TEMPORARY TAXES THAT ARE DUE TO EXPIRE!!!!!

I see Shasta on the list. I assume its just a park in the area or something?
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

            Shasta SHP(state historic park)

            Not Lake Shasta.

"Six miles west of Redding a row of old, half-ruined, brick buildings remind passing motorists that Shasta City, the lusty "Queen City" of California's northern mining district, once stood on this site. These ruins and some of the nearby roads, cottages, and cemeteries are all silent but eloquent vestiges of the intense activity that was centered here during the California gold rush."

Like I stated earlier...1/3 of 1% of our states budget is for state parks. Most of these parks have a janitor, landscaper and the occasional standby at the visitor center.

It is pure propaganda from the thugs in Sacramento to get the uneducated public to panic and approve tax hikes.
