    Coastal Night Lights

Have been in the market now for awhile to add more light behind my RZ2. From reading a number of reviews on different forums I have decided to pick up two DS lights from Coastal Night Lights. Chris has been a pleasure to work with and stands behind his products. More importantly the lights cost only $190. As soon as i have them installed ill share some pics.

You planning for underwater lighting or mounted to the tower? At some point, I plan to do both, so I look forward to seeing your results. The pics on their website show that those lights are super bright.

I put some Perko LED underwater lights on last year (white) and really like them. They come in pairs and are around $200 and super easy to install. Use 5200 and you're golden.
Fixing everyone elses boat just so I can use mine...

lights arrived. definitely have a larger amount of LEDs compared to much more expensive competitive models. Will have them installed before weekend and hoping to test on lake this weekend. Ill take pics and will post

How are you going to Install them? you going to drill a hole and fill it with 5200 for the wire?

I already have a hole where the factory seablaze light was installed so ill just drill another hole on the starboard side for the second light. as these lights run on a very low load ill wire them together to the existing wiring and switch. Should be very straight forward

In the pictures on the website the white plastic doesnt look that good. How well are they made?

While it is not aluminum like some of the competitive models it is very well built with a heavy casing. everything is well sealed and it has a solid feeling.

lights installed- went in very easily. one question though, the lights are rated at just under 1 amp each and it is recommended that the breaker be 5 amps. Looking at the breaker for the old light it is rated at 10 amps. i dont believe it is worth swapping out the breaker for a 5 amp given this is a DC system and I cant think there would be any voltage spikes.

Ill take pics this weekend with how they perform at night.

Not the best pic, sorry. Lights are awesome though. While in Parker, AZ they lit up the water for at least 20'. Ill be sure to bring my camera next time we go out and will try to get a better shot.
