    Ha! Ha!

The wake looks awsome man. You gotta let me drag my buddy along to show him he no longer possesses the best surf wake on Tahoe.

for a change of pace we took out one of my ocean boards..A custom WALDEN 6'8" Superwide. It fit perfect in my moused' racks but we had to use bigger bungys.

It was awesome..ride it all day and sneak up to the nose. The board is F A T and W I D E and planes like an 8 footer. Clark blank with nice old skool construction. Light and playful. I'm considering having them make me a a mini version...like a 4'11" superwide

Well, if its one thing I've learned, pics are deceiving. My wake looks pitiful in pictures but, its so workable and such a great shape that it is still one of the funnest wakes I've ever been on. Your's looks similar in shape but f'n huge. I guess you'll just have to have me out for a session so I can confirm my previous statement in person.

From the drivers seat it looks OK..but sitting on the wave side down low it looks GINORMOUS.

We're still considering bow weight with more people just want to do it in calmer water.

I'd be satisfied with just 6 more inches of height. It's a shame those bow sacs sit empty. They fill in about 2 minutes..crazy fast

Just out of curiosity, have you tried adding any opposite side weight? Obviously contrary to popular practice but, could this increase width? Just thinking of action and reaction of altering the angle of attack if you will. Maybe throw some surf side bow weight as well as a little opposite side rear weight? This might help keep your current AOA while adding a few more pounds. It's nothing if not worth a shot. IDK

Tahoe is a tough place to get dialed in. Lots of factors against you.

I'll try anything. I'm brand new at the ballast game. Tahoe never sits still. It's either the other boats or the wind.

I'm up late...830..and about 30 driving min away so if it's not a calm day as far as wind goes I'm screwed. The weekenders are chewing up my favorite spots with horrifying chop as we speak.

4th of July was a prime example...It was dead CALM..80's a dream day with no wind yet the lake was a mess of 2 foot garbage.

However if your out before 9 it doesn't matter what day it is..it seems like it's always real nice.

It's 9 now and I don't have to be there to know the ramps are lined up with boats. Soon the lake will be nuts. I'm still in my pajamas typing this stuff

I will sell my customs to you if you want. I didn't put the top port in the best spot for my aerator system, so I need to re-order with ports in a better location. They are in the perfect spot for your pumps though. I beefed up the divider wall and got to fill the sac till they bulged yesterday. Best wave I have ever ridden. My airs and the amount of push it gave was crazy!

whoa your new 18"s? Isn't that goin to set you back a few bucks?. Believe it or not Duff' I'm pretty sure I'm at my limit with weight up here.

With 300 on the step, the rear locker 1500 bulging and 2 or 3 people I can feel the drivetrain straining a bit. Enough for me to think don't push it.

Elevation is a cruel thing. I'm sure I'm down at least 30 hp from what your getting and even more than a sea level boat is getting. Those are precious ponies I could really use

I'd love to see more pics/vids of such a wave Duffy. Can I ask where you run TAPS?.Lately my guys like it at 3. Should I really be dropping the trim tab that much?

If it likes 3, let it eat.

I actually run mine at 2 on taps. I think I will experiment with a longer wakeplate next year. The taps plate is weirdly short. I did a longer plate on my last boat and it really made the wave have a better shape and cleaner. Well 300 on the swim deck makes a giant difference. Remember I run the 1800, thats without it bulging, so who knows how much it really weights. Could be 1700-2000. Then I run the 150 on the deck with 100 pounds of lead in it, then 2-100 pound lead bars with tige matched carpet on them and then the 500 in the bow. I run about 12.2-12.7. My boat cavitates a little in rough water.

                              damn

sometimes we set it at 2...2 1/2 as well.

yeah that plate is small when you consider other boats have 2 TRIM TABS

mine also cavites a bit in rough water..sucks

I think I'll try some bow weight next time..start with a little and see what happens

Yesterday I had 3-4 very good pumps before hitting the lip for airs. I like a long wave. I was recovering easily 20+ feet back. Such a sick wave! Bow weight will really help your motor with the weight. I bet your boat will feel much better. It brings the nose down and helps the prop move water. OJ is coming out with a 5 blade prop. Suppose to run less rpms, more holding power and no cavitation.
