New TIGE 24V owner...get the boat home and disaster

yep. most of the time were out in the 300 to 500 ft. You're still relatively close to shore near the 'shelf'.

After that it goes to over 2000 and you start finding dead Italians

wave isnt' bad I guess. It was glass early and the wave looked amazing with that smooth water...nice mini barrel. I gave the crew the glass and I ended up with a slight chop. Still not bad today

I'm learning. All of the 'crew' are actually surfers but all first time wakesurfing without a rope.

The balance point is alot smaller than a bigger wave on a bigger board but once you get that down it seems to be game on.

I'm shopping for a better vest now that mine is water logged...you can see it bends you over. I need something real light and don't care if the CG likes it or not..ideas?

damn funny Duffy but no way I could rock that look. The Coasties' are always around since their little clubhouse is nearby...Also the Sheriff boat loves to cruise up on your butt when it's least expected. Their clubhouse is in the next cove over and that thing they drive is FAST..Same with the Coastgaurd except they're in some kind of Navy Seal style Zodiac with 2 ginormous outboards..like twin 350's

Decent push for sure. The water has been a bit rough but when it glasses out the wave is pretty easy to ride

Do you think you can get away with a good non cga vest? The cops see me without a vest and have never stopped me for it. No idea why. We got pulled over while I was surfing and he inspected my boat and didn't say a word about me not wearing a pfd. But non cga vests still provide good float and move way way better.

The problem is EVERYBODY wants a boat ride. Chicks who barely aknowledged my presence now are text' me wanting a boat ride and surf'. I hadn't seen this one in 5 years and all of a sudden she's ready for action

My own mother is pimpin me. I took a bunch of her freinds out 4th of July for a scenic cruise.A week later and Ive now been on 3 more 'scenic cruises' with all her garden club pals.

I'm hiding today..back to work I guess

Looks like a great great surf wake, I grew up in Reno (Verdi, NV actually) lived there for 24 years until i moved to the east coast for work. Man I miss that color of water, but don't miss the temp the water tho, out here the water is brown and dirty but nice and warm been above 80 for 2 months now. My parents still live in verdi and have a vacation place on donner so I know the area really well. I can understand that living in soda springs is pretty ruff I have shoveled more snow than I care to remember in the winters at Donner. Good luck and happy summer dude.
