Funny, my boy is a definite fixture on the west side as well. We can't go anywhere without him knowing someone. I'm just a tag along in comparison.

We will definitely run into each other. Very few Tiges up there and even fewer surfers. I'm gonna have to catch a ride on your boat this summer though if it is going to be anything like duffy's. See ya at Homeweed.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

might be like Duffy's. I've already got 4000 lbs of ballast on order..pumps..switches.

I'm considering making a homemade Bu' floater wedge too. ..

They have a Malibu with one at the harbor and I'm goin down there tommorow to take some measurements.

I can't believe how much Malibu wants for those. It's all steel and a simple design. A backing plate..a few fancy angles and a spring loaded ball dealio... no big deal. If it fails I'm out a hun' or so of material (and hopefully not a ripped stern haha)

Oh we'll see another TIGE for sure. Damn bu's and bastardcrafts are all over the place. A few CENTURIONS but not alotta TIGE's

How nice what this boat? It's IDENTICAL to mine, except I have a nicer stereo now. I talked to them about the RZR they have in stock just this weekend as well...

My wife's friend does that "secret shopper " and she can get our fee's paid if we 'evaluate' the work they do to get our boats inspected. I'm down for that. I hear it's like around $100 to get your boat into the lake.

not sure what it costs to drop in tahoe. Used to be like 20 bux for the inspection 2 years ago. 100 sounds nuts

Obexers' is a marina on the west shore in Homewood...bout' 300 ft. down the lake from Homewood High and Dry Marina. It's owned by the Obexer family for eons

I am grateful to live in Florida! Looks like a nice purchase and a fair price. You'll have a blast this summer.

Last I saw, the inspection fee was right around $100. There might actually be an additional inspection now as well. I'll check. This is why I don't take my boat to Tahoe any more. Then there are ramp fees. Obexer's is $20 to put in and $10 more to take it out. I used to be able to avoid that cost just by knowing Sara (owner) but, what's the point now.

Here we go. I was wrong. I was adding in the decontamination fee to the inspection fee. Still...

Considering there are 5 other lakes that are closer (not including Pyramid) and none of them more than $20, I would have to really want to put my boat on Tahoe. It's pointless for me.
