    Wood?

When did Tige go full composite? Would a 1996 PRE2100 have wood floors/stringers?

Yes. Don't be scared. If properly maintained, it will last forever.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

That's a big IF, unfortunately. I'm not scared, but wary.

I don't think I've ever heard about any problems with the wood stringers in older Tiges. The floors, yes, but not the stringers. I believe the stringers were encapsulated in fiberglass and have shown to be extremely durable.

That would be good. I've been browsing Supra's, and considering opening a business replacing floors and stringers it's so common over there...

our 91 malibu euro f3 had wood stringers and floor, shes lasted us 20 years. They have a lifetime warranty on them, unfortunately not the seats, some of which did rot, but other than that no problem with the stringers or floor in the early malibus... i dont think you need to be too concerned
