    need help with new boat

I think I just sold my pre2150 now its time to decide on a new boat, but I need some advice. mostly skyski and surf but still want an intermediate slalom wake. have 2 kids under 3 and am thinking of a 22ve or rzr. my buddy has two kids also that also come with us often. just trying to make the best decision. any ideas would be great.

What's the price difference on a used 22ve vs RZ2?

you say rzr im assuming you wanna buy new. the rzr hull is supposed to be getting 3 event certified and holds twelve heads. maybe an r20 or rzr is the best choice

An R20 can easily run into the low to mid 50's cost wise depending on what options you add and the RZR with all of its bling will run in the $60K+ range. The R20 is a nice boat but remember it is Tige's basic inboard where taps and ski pylon are options amongst many more. To save money Tige has gone to a PCM 303hp motot in all boats less than 22 ft as the standard motor. For many users the 303HP motor will work out but with a boat load of passengers , gear and ballast at higher elavations the 303 may be lacking. HP is an indicator of power but torque is what gets the job done. The 5.0L motor from what I understand is not a torque monster. If possible test ride a 303hp RZR or R20 and then the 5.7L 343 PCM in same boat model. Good luck.

went to the local dealer yesterday and checked out new rzr's and r20's and rz2's. the 20' s are out.too small. they didnt order any 22ve's which I really like. any dealer recommendations? not really a fan of my local one. the salesman didn't even know what an alpha z tower was. would really like to find a really nice used one. thanks for. all the info.
