2003 Centurion Avalanche the dividers are maybe a 1/2 inch or so away from the exhaust. Which would add like 250 pounds to the sac with very minimal work.

Keep in mind that a full sac will apply pressure to those walls, causing them to flex toward the exhaust somewhat....

For sure. Most likely re- enforce the walls. Stiffen them up. This will be my 4th pretty over the top ballast install. Planning on going all out this time. We switch from goofy to regular while surfing constantly so I really need fast fill- drain times.

One trick (used by WakeMakers, for example) is an extra pump that transfers water directly from one side to the other. Not having to lift the water the whole distance speeds the filling process. I wouldn't think it would make enough difference to matter, but apparently it does. Just an idea.

Sounds like you ended up getting a boat? Did you go with the green 24V?

Any way to put the pump and the battery in that area? How much room is next to the battery?

Duffy, did you ever determine if the 24V's are 24'10" or 23'10" the specs here still show 24'10" but as you said Internet say 23'10". Have you confirmed on your boat?

Lol, this is such an old thread! I have no clue on how long my boat really is. My buddy has a 22v right down the marina from me and the 2 feet makes a huge difference!!
