Removing front seats

I was woundering how the part that your back rest against in the bow comes off. What are they held in there with? I have a 98 2200I

I just removed the back rest on my 2000 2300v, they were screwed on with phillips screws in between the seams, very hard to see, hope that helps. My wife had to hold the foam apart so I could unscrew them.

just took mine off. the ones on side are screwed in on seam. the one in the middle with no seam is bolted on. have to remove speakers to get hand in there us 7/16 4 bolts. two on each side
