    Looking for a spare prop

Hey, as some of you will remember, I'm pretty new to the site and recently bought a 2001 21v Rider's Edition. I'm trying to cover my bases and put together an onboard tool kit and a spare prop & kit. I have almost all the tools I need, but what I don't have is a spare prop.

I tend to take a week or two off of work each summer and spend it on various lakes (Powell, Shasta, etc.). I'd hate to have my vacation ruined by a dinged up prop. I'm not looking to spend a lot, since this will be a spare prop. Probably looking at second hand. Don't need anything new.

What prop do you all suggest? Looking for a good all around prop. We do a little of everything....wakeboard, ski, tube.

We have a 2000 2100V. We bought an ACME 537 and kept the original prop as our backup. We have been pleased with the performance. If you run a lot of ballast I am sure others can chime in with suggestions.

EBay is your friend...I would not spend much more than this, as it seems used props don't hold their value very well.

Here is a used 537 for 212 bucks. IT has been modified to give it more pitch.

        Be excellent to one another.

Oh by the way, Lohe's comment reminds me. Which V drive do you have blue or black? I have a blue, from Lohe's comments I guess his is black.

Its very important to determine what gear ratio your final drive is before choosing a prop.

Did some investigating this weekend. I have the blue V-drive. The boat currently has an Acme 381 prop.

I'll be searching ebay and craigslist from time to time looking for a deal.

One is Brass, the other is stainless. Selling them both if you are still looking.
                Waiting for another good one!
