Tige'.jpgTige' 2.jpgWe purchased our 1999 Tige' 2100i and have loved it ever since. The motor has 968 hours on it and has never skipped a beat.

              '97 2150 WT

              I have a '97 2150 WT with a 377 blue scorpion engine. 364 hours.

Great boat! Don't know the answers to the other questions.

TeamAllen, do you still have you 1997 2150? I am looking at buying one out of texas. Any advice for someone who hasn't owned a Tige previously? Is there storage aft of the rear seat? under the observers seat and under the bow seats? Thanks

                Comment

I do still have it. It's performed flawlessly. What motor does the one you are looking at have? Does it have a tower installed? How many hours?
There is a shallow storage behind the rear seat. It's maybe 12" deep? That's where the fuel tank is. You can put a few slalom skis in there.
There is a built in cooler with a drain into the bilge under the observers seat. The biggest storage is behind the observers seat. It connects to the space under the bow cushions. There is limited space under both front bow cushions.

This boat is wider than any other inboard boat during those years. You will notice it if you have been in other inboards. I hope it is in good condition and it works out for you. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Jbutche post some pictures if you buy it

There is also the storage locker in the walk thru that is decent size.

One big thing to check is the floor. Make sure you walk around and push down with your feet. Especially in front of the ski pole and along the passenger side. That seemed to be where a lot of my damaged occurred.
Check the center window. My center window had a tendency to 'fall through' when I hit waves. Just check to see if there is any wear on the bottom portion of the windshield(see attached pic).

                      - Check the pulley for the water pump to see if it is plastic or metal. I had a plastic one and disintegrated on mine and I had to replace.
                      - Check that the taps actually works, make sure the plate moves when you hit the switch.
                      - Make sure the gauges work and check the bezels(make sure they are not cracked) - I upgraded my gauges and the wires were very brittle underneath
                      - Check the steering to make sure it turns easily. Probably best to do so during your lake test.
                      - Ask when he has changed the impeller - If this breaks apart, the boat will start to overheat.

I put a fat sac in the rear storage locker. It seemed to help weight it down more.

Overall I loved that boat and wish I still had it. If

If it has a Titan tower, it might be my old boat.
If its not fun, Why do it?

Haha sorry just noticed the million pics I posted. I tried to upload through my iPhone and I thought it didn't go through!!! I e been doing tons of different small upgrades to it since I purchased last year sept 2015 so it's slightly different than what it was when I first bought it. But can anyone tell me what type of tower is on this boat?

Man, this is usually right up my alley but, I can't think of what tower that is. Obviously after market. The key is the rear legs mount to the base leg. That's a rare design and I know I've seen it. I just can't seem to place the name.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.
