Welcome! I too have a 2000 SLM comp, a 1994. I bought it in late April of this year and have been updating it since then. We love it, however we still have not used it for what it's designed for, pulling. We will try this weekend though.
Congrats on the purchase! The luck is gone, the brain is shot, but the liquor we still got.

I really like the look of the tinted windshield.
Here's ours.

Whats your trick with keeping the water spots off the black? I was doing great when I was washing and waxing on a regular basis. Then moved to over Babe's Boat Bright and boycotted the washing and waxing (that's when the spotting came back). I guess when its 105+ your going to get spots no matter what you do.

I love the engine! Partly because I installed it. I think this boat jumps out of the water faster than my friend's pre2150. I don't think I'm getting everything out of it since I never can get it up to the recommended RPM range for WOT. I'm not sweating it that much because she burns enough gas the way it is.
Waterspots...regular waxing w/ a 3M wax, and a chamois wipedown at the boat launch. Luckily for us Minnesotans we don't need to deal w/ dry 105 degree days, just hot and humid ones. The luck is gone, the brain is shot, but the liquor we still got.

1994 Tige 2002 FSLM COMP
We purchased this boat a little over a month ago. We have been to the lake 5 weekends already and loving it. I bent the prop last weekend while my daughter was skiing but we are not ready to end our season. I am looking for another 13 x 13 1" (I think). The prop measures just about an inch and definitely not 1 1/8". Does any body know if it is 1"?Attached Files

The size will be stamped on the hub of the prop. If you do a lot of skiing, I have my 14x18.5x1 1/8 Cutter that came on my 21V. Sell it cheap. Get yours repaired and have a spare. Nothing like a bent prop to ruin a great weekend. Most of us carry a spare. Congrats on the new boat, how old are the kids? Mine grew up on the lake and it is the greatest family time you can have. They are grown but still come home to go to the lake. Have fun.

You will probably need a prop puller to get your old one off...I'd see if there is someone near you that can just loan you one for the day.
