        Quick,
I think I have met your dad, there is only one guy running around with wood inboards. One is all wood and one is glass on the sides right? Those are some nice boats, love those things. It was about 3 years ago when I talked to him, but saw him several time this year. What kind are they, I can not remember. I just remember the one has a 318 Chrysler in it.

Sorry, no pictures of the "hunt". Got that thing out as quick as I could and it was not quick enough.

JeanW, A little history would be cool if you can post for all to see.

Father in law.....I don't claim him! JK! That would be him. One is all wood and one is glass on the sides. I believe they are Century boats. His boats are kept at Eastport in E.P. His name is Rick Roszell. They are really sharp boats... a lot of maintenance though!

Im seeing a trend that each year the boats grow.....Little longer, little taller, and a little wider. That 93 proves it.

              Oldest boat on the board?

Howdy y'all. I just started poking around and reading tonight and have renewed enthusiasm. Well, I may have the oldest boat on the bd. and be the new winner as I've read so far. I have a 1992 2000 slm comp that I bought in 2000 w/150 hrs. on it and it now has 400. It looks great but has looked better as it has been neglected for the last few years due to.....non-use. Ever since my boy was born 4 yrs. ago the boating has become non-existent. Anyway. I called Tige' when I bought it and gave them the hull #, and they told me it was like the # 63, 68, or 75 in production. (I forget because I lost my notes). I've never skied behind a better boat wake. And it looks kick *** in the water too. It won best in show and oldest boat in the water at the Tige' Boat Owners Reunion sponsored by The Ski Dock on Lake Austin a couple of years ago. It was like the '66 Corvette at a car show, with everyone going over to oogle and ah over it.

I have to say, the best lake ever to ski on is Lake Sam Rayburn in East Texas. You can always find a cove with glass no matter which way the wind is blowing. A sandy beach to hang on. And the lake is large enough to hang out in the middle and get naked with the lady, w/out interruption.

Dogbert, I'm in Austin and would really like to get together for some pulls. I miss the thrill. Chpthrll, I love your signature tag line. Doh!

I was there! In fact, I parked right next to you that year. Your boat was lookin' pretty good. We're out on Lake Austin quite a bit during the week. I'll give you a shout when we're back.

                      Rock in Ragin,
I knew there had to be at least one member on here who had a first year boat, thanks for posting. I will gladly settle for second oldest boat. Looks like all they changed from 92 to 93 is the paint color.
I have commented to my wife many times how I wish we were closer to a Tige reunion so I could take the boat and show it off as I figured there would not be many there. You just confirmed that people do appreciate to see the "old" ones too.

I recieved the DVD from Jean @ Tige. It is awesome.

The first Tige was named Tiga. If we could find the boat with Tiga on the back they would truly be the oldest boat!

I heard a story about this boat and I think tige owns it now, if the story holds water. A guy I used to work with saw my boat after I bought it. He said a long time ago his friend boat a Tige from some guy. A while after he went to register and change title he got a letter from Tige. They offered to give him a new tige in exchange for his because it was the first one ever made. Like I said, this is a STORY I was told so not claiming it to be true.

I have a '98 PRE2100wt that I got in 2002 from the very picky original owner. He took incredible care of the boat and trailer and i now do the same. Neither the boat or trailer has even one scratch what so ever! Always get compliments on the package. Garage kept and wiped down completely after every use and waxed top to bottom every year... bottom of hull, trailer and even the bottom of the trailer is waxed every year. The tower was custom made in 2002 - Tige edition Rat Cage by Wake Designs.. I have since made a custom sloid frame bimini that mounts to the tower just under the speakers. I love the look of the older Tiges and this is probably the best all around slalom/wakeboard boats I have ever seen!!

I bought a 1992 Tige SLM 2000 Comp, no pictures yet, but for a first ski boat I love it.
