I would love to see the Tige-equivalent of this project boat. Perhaps it is not an old enough brand?

I grew up in and around marinas while my dad was building a 30' ferrocement cruiser. Lots of other project boats were around at the time. So these sorts of re-builds fascinate me.

That said, it's is amazing to see older boats in such pristine condition, like those of seawalker and slingshot05!

I have been a little lazy with posting, I will try to "keep up" with some of the pros.
I do believe mine is the oldest posted on here. If I am not mistaken, the 92 model year was the first, back when they were still made in Cali.
Thanks everyone, the boat does get some attention and people are always surprised how old it is.

Hey 96PRE, I thought you stole my boat for a minute
I bought mine last year with 105 hours on it. It now has about 160, and it runs like a sewing machine

Thanks mate. It just turned 450. I know I'm biased, but I have to agree with you. it's just a good looker. Long live the wooden Tiges.

                Yessup,
I like your bimini top, I am going to have to look into one. I have a little one on the way and in might come in handy.

A little side note, my ski boat turned into a fishing boat on saturday. An asian carp (about 8-10 pounder) jumped into the back of my boat and proceeded to thrash and get slime and blood all over the place. That was nasty. Got it all cleaned up, but wholy cow that will get your attention.
Ahh yes, the joys of the Illinois river.

                    2001 22i Type R

We just bought this boat in February from Texas Mastercraft. This is the first inboard we have owned and we love it.

I grew up on the IL river!! Nice to see a Peorian on here! My father in law still rides the river almost daily. He has two old mahogany Century boats that are fully restored. I lived on the river in High School and am out on it when I am back around a few times each summer! I am glad there is a tige out there fighting the carp!!
