    1996 2100wt Stalls

My boat starts perfect, idles great. After warming up,I make a pass thru the course and then when going about 30 mph it stalls. I pull out of gear and it revs fine.
I have changed fuel/water seprator, pulgs, drained the tank. Cap and rotor look fine.
    Any suggestions would be helpful.

Bad Gas! Mine does the same thing, I put the marine stabli in my gas. Seems to help.

We had sort of the same thing but it was more of a hessitation than a stall. it was just thirsty for some tranny fluid. Didnt need much but worked like a charm

Im going to try the fuel pump

How do you change the oli in the tranny? Seems to be ok level, what kind do you actully put in? Regular car fluid or special marine grade?

we didnt change it as the fluid looked to be in good shape, and we have it changed everytime we winterize it. We just topped it up. I believe it is just regular tranny fluid.

I agree with Chpthril. I had symptons like that on my 1997 2150i. I tried a bunch of different things. Wasted a season experimenting and it ended up being the fuel pump.
If its not fun, Why do it?

Our 24 Hour of Lemons race car (Mustang with a Ford 302) had the exact same issue. It would idle fine rev fine, get out on the track and halfway through the lap it would fall flat on its face. Nothing more than idle. Changed a lot of stuff fuel related, but only once we replaced the fuel pump was the situation resolved.

I'd try the other things first as they are cheap and easy to try, but I'd bet its your FP. My tranny used ATF. I suck out the fluid the same way you pour it in. If you haven't changed it lately, that would be a good place to start.
