Salt Water in Ballast

Just wondering if I have my boat in salt water and fill the ballast is there a good way to flush the sacks out without putting the boat into fresh water? Or is there really a need to flush them out? Thanks for the help everyone.

We have several running in the salt and havent seen any problems with the ballast.

Salt may corrode some metal components, especially the engine, but won't hurt the sacks at all.
