New style board racks for alpha Z

    New style board racks for alpha Z

    Will the new style wake/surf board racks for the alpha z tower fit the bolt pattern for the older style wake/wake racks? Meaning, I don't want to swap out the entire mount, just the "fingers" to the updated style that acommodates wake/surf while keeping my existing swivel mounts. If these bolts line up, how do I get a pair of these and how much?............Dealer doesn't seem to know if this is possible!!

    Has the dealer not called Tige? Tige has offered a wake/surf setup for the Alpha-Z since it was introduced I believe. I would say the rack is the same.

      It's just the fingers I am concerned about, not the entire rack, and yes, the dealer (who is very reputable btw)...claims they dont know!!!

        Yes, i understand. If Tige has been offering the wake/surf fingers for a couple year models now, then I would gather that the rack is the same, thus the fingers are interchangeable, depending on availability, as they do them at the factory.

          The fingers are not interchangeable, you need to replace the spreader that the fingers mount too but you do not have to change the entire assembly. There is a center bolt under the decal that will remove the fork assembly and just replace with a new surf assembly.

            Thx Correll....do you know this from personal experience? did you swap yours, if so did your dealer supply you with the new spreader/forks? how much was it?
