Prop, I went to a 4 blade 13X13. It made the wakes softerand the prop wash smaller!!

    Do you have Taps?

It was a 3 blade 13X13 Stainless.(I went to Brass) I have done alot of trial and error to get the best wake possible in the course.

I have never riden behind a 22ve but my guess is your boat is maily a cross over boat, made to ski/wakeboard. V drives are not really known as a tournament slalom boat. Do to the motor being in the back.

Try anything and everything! Weight in the front might help, play with the taps. Have someone pull you at the rope and speed you are comfortable skiing with and see where the prop spray is, have them adjust the taps to make it move forward and or back. Speed also makes a huge diffrence in wake softness and crest.

Its all trial and error......it drove me nuts for a while!!

Jon nothing you do will give you a good slalom wake. You can get descent wake for a rec skier but not a comp wake. bfrank you boat has a killer wake for the course or at least the one I have skied behind does. The 22ve is not designed for serious skiers. I have a 2004 22v the best wake i can get is a 34 mph @22 off. less speed and the wake grows more speed not much different. The wake is soft but big. If you are a buoy chaser look for something else.
