iPad 2 camera challenge for those mechanically gifted!!

I have an idea with the new iPad that has the camera built into it... the video is pretty good on it and is so easy to use. My idea needs help as I am not the most mechanically inclined guy on earth!!

Have two thin straps that would securely hang the iPad from the tower that will shoot the video for the activities behind the boat that will allow to easily adjust angles, provide stability for the wind and protect the iPad itself. Any ideas how to actually pull this off? Maybe attach the iPad to the mirror without sacrificing safety?

      Here is some ipad mounts.

You can buy a Go Pro camera for pretty cheap and they are water proof, not sure it is worth the beating the ipad would take.

Either just get a go pro or a Vholdr (I have a Vholdr) and mount it wherever you want. they make kits so you can mount them pretty much anywhere. we mount the vholdr on the transom with a suction cup mount and run a zip tie through it and the D ring as a safety. Never has come off and shoots at a real cool angle!
