What was the deal with the Fox racing edition?

I was just wondering what was behind the idea with the fox racing edition packages? Was this just a decal package or was there anything else different about the boat setup or its options?
Was it some kind of affilitation or tie in with the motocross accessories that are linked with honda or was it something else? If so what does motocross and wakeboarding have to do with each other, and what does a wakeboard boat have to do with racing? Dont get me wrong it is not that I dont or did not like it, I am just trying to understand what they were going for?
I have to admit that I was attracted to the look at first as I also have a expensive long time hobby with quads and mx. Was there that many other people like me out there that they were marketing to do you think?
If so, here is why it didnt exactly work for me. I kind of wondered if the big fox racing edition sticker on the back tries to make other people think its some kind of racing boat. We all know that probably could not be too much further from the truth so in my mind it kind of made it somewhat of a obvious poser! I could see some guy pulling up in a blown donzi wanting to race, "um no thanks!" or "maybe, how about 0-40"
Do you think that since they only made them a few years that they might someday command a little more money than the average tige made in those years. Or become a collectors item?
Any thoughts, insights or discussion on this might be interesting!

I don't know, I just saw one for the first time this past weekend at a wakeboard competition in NC. I'd be interested in knowing the deal also.

I read an interview with John Dorton of MasterCraft and he and his son are into Motocross so he decided to display boats at those events several years back. Maybe Tige just jumped on the bandwagon.
