Maybe a crazy question, but has anyone thought of putting a alpha tower on a older boat? Is it even possible? Can you order just the tower? I was just looking at the new 24VE with the tower, it looks awesome, we have a 2000 2300v and just thought how it would really update the boat.

I'm pretty sure TIGE doesn't recommend it.The structure of the older boats is not designed for the increased load of 2 mounting points.I do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis. -

I asked the same question last year
Also besides that fitment and the body of the boat not reinforced where it mounts was cost. It would be cheaper to have a custom tower made then installing a alpha Z correctly.
I went with the aerial assault instead made the boat look a lot newer.

I searched and cannot find the thread. There is a 2007 Tige in my city with the Alpha Z. It is the ONLY one I have ever heard of. The owner claims it was Charlie Pigeon's own boat (CEO of Tige), and the tower was put on at the factory. I am sure it can be done, the real debate is what kind of reinforcement you need underneath it.
So I think the easy answer is No, you can't do it.
The hard answer is well, maybe, if you can find a tower.Be excellent to one another.Comment

I have seen at least 3 alpha Z's on older boats. A 2007 RZ2, and a 2008 Z1 and 22ve. I'm sure there are more but after the cost of the tower new windshield you would never get that investment back when you sell.Comment
