Tige M.D. you were right. Impeller's fried. I guess the sea pump was turning by hand when I checked it, so it was hard to tell if something was wrong. I assume now that the impeller is removed the wheel should turn quiet and freely as i does (what a mechanical genious... jeez)
Anyways, I have yet to replace the impeller, but I'm concerned there may be other problems. What's bothering me is the fact that the belt was turning when the engine was moving. It never stopped. I thought that would havebeena a symptom.
However the middle cylinder and bottom cylinder (pump and crankcase would stop sporatically.) When I checked them by hand they turned as described by M.D.
I'm hoping there are no other problems I've caused due to the engine running with a bad impeller. As I stated before, the engine never ran long enough to get hot. I shut it down immediately upon hearing the squeeling.
Thanks
