RZ2 Speaker Placement

I'm getting 6 cabin speakers on the RZ2, but I'm trying to decide where to place the speaker near the driver. The factory puts it under the dash next to the sub, which people say helps get sound to the driver. I've heard others say the sound can get kind of "lost" down there with the sub.

The other option is to put it in the fiberglass to the right rear of the driver's seat -- see red circle on attached photo (which I borrowed from Robert's build thread).

Anyone done this or have any thoughts on which would be better? Thanks.

The ideal location is one that will keep at about the same level (plane) as the rest.

Down by the sub doesn't get lost too much. You can actually tell the difference if it is unplugged.
