    start of 2011 wakeboarding

March 17 start our wakeboarding this year. This is my buddy doing a tantrum. Yes he landed it. What a great day 70 something and 50 degree water. Even the snaggers got a kick out of watching us. The lake is such a great place for all to have fun.

I went wakeboarding last Friday while the buyer was test driving my boat. Figured that was the best way he could appreciate it.
                Be excellent to one another.

Flaming Gorge a lot ( cold lake) my in laws have a place there.

Utah lake is around 30 min's from my house but its shallow and murky water my wife hates it, but I like how close it is. 3 hour drive to flaming gorge.

The cabin is in Manila and we launch at Lucerne (sp?) I also have a buddy that has a Boat/slip in that marina. I usually leave the boat up there Jun-July and go up most weekends, On the Lake we like hanging out in Hide Out Point. Has a small dock with camp sites.

My Pic from the future lol. Me behind our old Tige wake boarding, my wife behind her parents boat skiing.

Ugh I cant wait, pretty sure the lake is still iced over.

I test drove my boat in Utah lake, nasty. There were tons of bugs and the algae or what ever the green stuff was and it was thick and all over. I had to clean the boat good after being there. I have a sister in Draper that wants me to bring it out and use on Utah, I would rather a different lake. That was why I was asking. I am more familiar with the lakes further north. Supposedly there are some down by Nephi or a little further south that are nice but I do not know them.

We go to Bear Lake a lot. It is cold but has nice beaches.

Ya I live in Draper so Utah is the closest lake but it is kinda gross like you said, its because how shallow it is. Tends to grow a lot of algae.. The other good close lakes (45-50 min from draper) I would say are Jordenale and East Canyon, they are a lot smaller and get crowded in the summer weekends with wallies. They are North/East of Draper/SLC.
